RMEF 25th Anniversary by Yellowhorse

Tuesday, May 5th, 2009

“This is David’s finest work.” This is the comment we have received from many of our collectors who have seen our final Edition in our Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation Series, the 25th Anniversary, RMEF2009 by Yellowhorse Edition. Those of you who have not seen this impressive piece of Navajo artwork, go to www.hcknives.com and check it out. In addition to David’s amazing craftsmanship on the blade and handle, RMEF2009 by Yellowhorse is accented by an officially licensed .999 silver commemorative medallion struck at the Carson City, Nevada Historic Mining Museum and Mint on Press #1. This is the press that minted the historic Carson City Silver Dollar, and our medallion features that official cc mint mark! For those of you that might have an opportunity to visit this famous Museum, I highly recommend it. Bob Nylen the Museum’s currator will be more than happy to arrange for you, an awesome tour of the facility. Bob can be reached at 775.687.4810 x239 or x245.

In addition to RMEF2009, Pro Tech Knives has just introduced The Don to their impressive collection of automatic knives. This model along with the popular Brend and the traditional models including the Godfather, Godson, Runt, Magic, TR.2 and TR.3 all keep Pro Tech on the edge of high-tech design and quality. Like Dave says, “you cannot ever have enough Pro Techs.”

Last but not least, I look forward to participating in the Atlanta Blade Show May 29-31. I will be featuring a very exclusive Yellowhorse SubHilt by Buck Knives that features a Damascus blade by Devin Thomas. Look for its photo in my next blog. In addition to this stunning creation, I will be featuring several exclusive editions by William Henry Knives, Josh Smith, Rick Dunkerley and Dennis Friedly. Speaking of William Henry Knives, we still have a few HC pieces available. If you are planning to attend this year’s Blade Show, be sure to stop at booth #56, say hi and check out what’s available from Heritage Collectables.

Well thats all for now. Thanks for your time and remember, “If it doesn’t say HC, go ahead and cut something.”

Have a safe and healthy Summer,

John Etten
